Prof. Dr. Boris Dostal is a bar approved lawyer for International Business Law (Fachanwalt). Boris has been a lawyer since 1994 after studying law at the Universities of Mainz, Dijon and Freiburg.
His focus is on international business law and corporate law. In particular, he works on mandates and transactions in Franco-German commercial, corporate and insolvency law, as well as international distribution law and German-French M&A projects.
Another focus of his practice is on international inheritance law in particular with regard to the transfer of business assets by way of gift or mortis causa.
In addition, Boris Dostal is recognized for numerous publications and his teaching activities. He is a lecturer at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Dijon and the Université de Haute-Alsace as well as at the Saarland University and since 2021 honorary professor at Saarland University.
He is also a permanent member of the “International Tax Law” expert commission of the French Notary Institute (CRIDON de Lyon).
